Airline Personality Tests
Some airlines include online assessments in their selection process, such as personality questionnaires, aptitude tests or situational judgement tests. These are general notes only: formats differ, and no page can tell you exactly what a specific airline will use.
What are personality and psychometric tests?
Personality questionnaires ask how you typically think, feel and behave at work, to see how your style fits the role, for example teamwork, stress handling and reliability. There are usually no right or wrong answers in the everyday sense, and results are normally considered alongside your interview and other steps.
How to prepare honestly
Answer honestly and consistently. Trying to guess the perfect profile can backfire because many questionnaires check for consistency. Rest well, choose a quiet place, read instructions carefully and do not overthink each item. Reflect beforehand on your real strengths and how you work in a team.
Other tests you may meet
Airlines may also use numerical or verbal reasoning, spatial or memory tasks, English language tests, and situational judgement questions describing a work scenario and asking how you would respond. Practise example questions from reputable free sources and check any practice materials mentioned in your invitation.
Common mistakes to avoid
Avoid paying anyone who promises to guarantee you pass an assessment or a job. Be careful with unofficial sites claiming to have real test questions, and never share your login details. See our scam warning.
Whether and how an airline uses assessments varies and changes over time. JobNeste does not guarantee interviews or job offers, and cannot tell you what any airline's tests contain. Follow the airline's own instructions.
